Deep Property Lookup

Write getPath(obj, "a.b.c") that safely reads a dot-separated nested path, returning undefined if any part is missing.

Examples

  • getPath({ a: { b: { c: 5 } } }, "a.b.c") → 5
  • getPath({}, "a.b") → undefined

Constraints

  • Keep the required function name so the tests can find it
  • Return a value instead of only logging it
  • Do not mutate inputs unless the challenge asks you to
